Joulé Gives Holiday Treat to Orphanage

Joulé Staffing Solutions donates roughly $300 in gift cards
DENVILLE, N.J. — This holiday season rather than dreams of sugar plums, the boys of Saint Peter’s Orphanage will be dreaming of the goodies coming their way after a recent donation of gift cards were dropped off by some not-so-secret Santas on Dec. 22.
“We wanted to provide Saint Peter’s the means to give these young men the holiday season they deserve. As a bonus, the gift cards can also be used going forward in 2012 to purchase other essential items,” Jacalyn Hayes, Branch Manager of Joulé Staffing Solutions’ Parsippany location, said.
Saint Peter's Orphanage, located on Diamond Spring Road in Denville, is a residential treatment facility for deprived, abandoned and/or neglected adolescent boys, ages nine to 17, with mild to moderate emotional, behavioral or social problems. Although Saint Peter's is a residential facility, the staff works very hard to assure its residents an atmosphere that is truly non-institutional, and more like a large family.
The elves at Joulé contacted Saint Peter’s to see what ways they could help the organization and its residents this holiday season. The orphanage supplied a list of stores to which gift cards would be greatly appreciated. In the stack of nearly $300 worth of gift cards from Joulé were a variety of stores including Hollister, PacSun and Sports Authority. The delivery of gift cards will be used to purchase items for the boys.
"Without the help of public donations, we would not be able to provide our boys with the care they need and deserve. Our hats are off to Joulé!" Kelly McNamara, LCSW, Saint Peter’s Executive Director, said.
